Final Chapter in The Golden Compass

In the last two chapters, 22 and 23(wow! I have read so much!), Lyra who is still a child had gotten alone except with Pan after she crossed a tiny and weak bridge. She was very worrying and scary because she had always stayed with someone such as Iorek or Coram. However, through her long and dangerous journey, Lyra was growing up to an adult who is independence to save her friend, Roger, and to save Load Asriel who was mean to Lyra when she had come up to his northern house to save him.

Lyra has gotten a lot of friends during the jouney since she left the Jordan College or escape from Mrs. Coulter who could not finally understand her husband, Asriel, so they might make her grow up. Ma Costa in gyptian's family made Lyra understand a mother's great warmthe thru taking care of her after Lyra got attacked by robbers, and Farder Coram gave her a real farther's warmth which Load Asriel had never given to Lyra. Also, a very important character who made Lyra grow up is a armed bear, Iorek, who loved Lyra and she also did it. Iorek saved her many time, and he is very essencial character in this story.

This girl's adventure story involves a deep humanity which is related with between Lyra and many characters she had met in her journey. Even though this has many scientific fictional thing such as a daemon, this story makes us think about humanity which is essencial for human beings. I like it.
