Behavior

We have a lot of questions about human behaviors in our daily life. In the text, it is said the comparisons of behaviors toward snakes between babies and adults, and I understand the writer's opinion that we are afraid of getting close to snakes because we know that snakes have a possibility to bite us. If we did not have any knowledge that snakes are one of the animals who make us dangerous or any scarely movies about snakes kiling you, we could stay with snakes comfortablely.
Every animates including human beings, animals, and plants have unique behaviors so that they could survive theirselves in each worlds. We, human beings, behave based on a stereotype or experience we have so far. We aren't afraid of anything unless we have abundant experiences to make our life better. Animals probably learn something to prevent from danger with their seniors and need to get stronger or to get the strategy to survive due to that fact that they are always a target of the predators. Likewise, plants also have something to survive as same reasons.
This topic is still in myth. Nobody has proven it yet, but I like to see the human's behavior because I am a person who likes to learn from other.

I'm not afraid of snakes, but a few weeks ago we were hiking in the Smocky mountains and middle in the way there was a big rattlesnake.

The snake was alive and of course then I was afraid of the snake!
